Do tattoos hurt?
YES! Tattoos do hurt, but most people who have been tattooed will tell you that the pain is tolerable. Some areas of the body hurt more than others, but we will always do our best to make you comfortable during your appointment. Large scale tattoos may require you to take breaks or book multiple sessions, but our pre-drawn flash tattoos take less than 30 minutes.
How big are the flash tattoos?
Our pre-drawn flash tattoos, that are available for purchase online, range from 1” to 3” on average. Minimal sizing adjustments can be made to accommodate placement at your appointment. All flash tattoos purchased online are non-refundable.
Can I customize any of the online flash tattoo designs?
The only flash tattoos allowed to be customized are the designs with lettering. For example, changing “mom” to “dad” in a flash design is allowed at no extra charge. Additionally, our script flash is priced as is for the number of chatacters in the design shown. If you’d like to add more characters (placement and sizing permitting), you will be charged an additional $10.00 per character added to your design.
What is the placement fee?
The $75 placement fee is added to the cost of flash designs for areas of the body such as fingers, neck, face, hands and ears. Please be sure to take note of this before purchasing your flash design, as these online payments are non-refundable.
Can I come in for a consultation before booking?
Yes! For large scale tattoos and custom projects, you are more than welcome to come in for a consultation, or use our online booking form. Pricing and time needed to complete your tattoo will be estimated for you during your consultation, or via email upon completion of the booking form. Please be sure to bring any reference photos with you to your consultation. We do not offer consultations for online flash designs.
How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Eating before hand and staying hydrated are the most important factors in preparation for your tattoo appoitment.
Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?
We do allow clients to bring a guest with them to their appointment. However, we do not always guarantee that they will be able to sit with you while you are being tattooed. Our space is limited, and we prioritize the comfort of our artists and other clients to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible.
Is my deposit for a custom tattoo refundable?
If you book with an artist and leave a deposit, the refund is at their disgresion. We understand that scheduling conflicts happen and things come up unexpectedly, but we ask that you notify us of any changes or cancellations as soon as possible in order for you to retain your deposit. Respect!

Is my online flash tattoo purchase refundable?
Our online flash tattoos are non-refundable, no exceptions. You have ONE opportunity to reschedule your appointment within 30 days of purchase, or risk forefiting your tattoo. If you need to rescheudle your flash appointment, please email us at funcitytattoo@gmail.com.
What is the aftercare procedure for my tattoo?
Your tattoo artist will inform you of your aftercare protocol at the time of your appointment. The most improtant things that you can do are to keep your tattoo clean and dry, avoid direct sun exposure, moisturize with an unscented moisturizer if your tattoo is peeling or itchy, do not go swimming or submerge your tattoo in water for at least 2 weeks and avoid excessive sweating for the first 48 hours.
